Chief Radio is owned by a professional singer/songwriter/musician Kirsty Baird who has performed in Venues like the Usher Hall and The Festival theatre in Edinburgh and the Alhambra theatre in Fife.
Kirsty appreciates following our dream is a hard slog and one that never ends. Our music is expected for free and sometimes there is little return for our hard work.
We all want the 'commercial' stations to play our tunes and on occasion they may do just that however, it is the smaller community stations that will give unsigned bands ongoing support.
Chief Radio has a social following reaching 25,000+
and listeners annually 150,000+
Our listeners are highly engaged with 40%+ reposting/sharing our social media who have supported 1000s of unsigned bands to date.
We have also teamed up with a promoter that you may want to consider getting in touch with. We play the artists from Pluggin' Baby often and Emma also has a show on Chief Radio.
Pluggin’ Baby was set up in 2013 and is a national radio plugging business here to get your music played on the radio and to help create the much needed buzz for your brand.
Emma Scott has 25 years radio presenting experience and knows what radio presenters and producers expect from radio pluggers. She has worked all over the country and with many different radio groups and is plugging to a lot of people that she has a professional relationship with.
